Privacy policy

When you join the NIHR ARC South London mailing list by completing our sign-up form we obtain personal information about you. This includes your name, email address, organisation and areas of interest in our work.

How we use this information and your consent

Using the information you have provided, we will send you a monthly newsletter (via Mailchimp) which will include NIHR ARC South London research news, blogs, events and resources, as well as those from our partner organisations that may be of interest.

We believe that all emails in our mailing list have been gathered with full transparent consent - either through our mailing list form, via Mailchimp or by you giving us your email following an NIHR ARC South London event specifically for this purpose.

How to unsubscribe

We will remove your personal information from our systems if you no longer wish to be registered to receive information from us, or if the NIHR ARC South London ends, whichever is first.

You can unsubscribe at any time from our newsletter: go to the bottom of the newsletter and click "unsubscribe from this list" or "update subscription preferences".

Security

The information you give will be processed and stored securely by the ARC South London, in accordance with current data protection law, including the General Data Protection Regulation.

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

Only staff at the NIHR ARC South London will have access to the information and we will not pass on your details to any other organisation or individual.

Keeping your information up to date

We will endeavour to keep the information we hold on you accurate and up-to-date. If your personal details change, help us to keep your information up to date by emailing arc-communications@kcl.ac.uk

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and to have any inaccuracies corrected.
